BetMGM was established in 2008 as a joint venture between MGM Resorts International and GVC Holdings to operate a global sports betting and casino company from its headquarters in Las Vegas, Nevada. The commercial also signaled the formal transfer of the joint venture from Roar Digital to BetMGM, which took place the following day.
