Add Your Own Bonus

Sportsbooks send private bonuses by email or straight to your account that we cannot see. This walks through every field when you add one yourself: the sportsbook, the bonus type and amount, minimum odds, expiry, and the targeting options for bonuses tied to a specific day, league or market. Once it is in, we calculate the hedges for it like any other bonus.

A lot of the time, sportsbooks will send you private bonuses, either directly to your account or in an email. Those bonuses are only for you, and the general public does not get them. That means we do not know they exist, so we cannot put them in the system for you. You have to add them yourself. Here is how.

On the Bonuses page, New tab, click Add Your Bonus 1 at the bottom.

I will walk through every single thing we let you set so that you use your bonus optimally.

The hard requirements

Sportsbook. Which sportsbook is offering the bonus. Pretty obvious: you cannot use a DraftKings bonus at FanDuel.

Bonus type. Bonus Bet, Bet-and-Get, Profit Boost or No Sweat. There are other videos in the Skool community on the differences between these and how to tell which is which. Let's say they gave you a $100 bonus bet: select Bonus Bet and type in 100.

A lot of the time that is the end of the hard requirements.

Minimum odds are not always specified. Minus 200 is a pretty common one, but you may not have to set it at all.

Expiry. Typically a week, which is our default. Most of the time you will use a bonus within a day or two, so the expiry does not really matter.

More targeting options

Down at the bottom are the more specific settings for more particular bonuses.

Specific day. For example, FanDuel typically runs a promotion on Tuesdays during baseball season, where you have to bet on a game on a Tuesday. Or "first touchdown scorer, Sundays only". That kind of thing.

Leagues. Much of the time you have to bet on the NFL specifically, or NCAA football specifically. This is where you set that.

Markets. This lets you say, for example, "I only want to bet on moneylines."

Check it and add it

Let's look at the whole thing: a $100 bonus bet at DraftKings, minimum odds of -200, and we only want NFL moneyline bets. Add it.

We have done all the calculations and it shows up in your bonus list. If you want to click into it on the Bonuses page and edit it further, you can.

To use it, go to the Hedges tab, find your $100 bonus bet, and there is your NFL moneyline hedge.
